In this age our societies promote the industrial activity and the use of different technologies that need process. The life quality in this moment of the history is understanding like practices that result in pollution. For example, the massive use of cars and other vehicles that use gasoline produce smog and, in addition with the industrial activity produce much contamination. Sincerely, I’m not an example of “green person”, I never participated in eco-organizations, but I think that the effort for decontaminate must start in the great industries because this are the most important reason of contamination in the city, in the country and, obviously, in the world.

Well, is undeniable we have to protect the environment. Personally, I don’t consider me a great person protecting the environment but I try be careful in some practices in my life. For example, I’m careful with the water, for example, when I brush my teeth I turn off the tap or when I take a bat, I try to do it quickly. Besides, I ride a bike when I can do it and I don’t use a particular car. Besides, I don’t throw trash in the street, I always use bags for throw my trash.  

I don’t recycling and I think that very little people do it. In my opinion, the recycling must be spread for all the people but I think that in this moment the conditions are not appropriate to recycle. The government has to take measures seriously and spread an “ecological mentality” for all the people. Here, in Santiago, the matter of the pollution is one serious problem that needs solution. For example, promote the use of ecological bags or prepare places where the people can recycle.

I hope that the mentality takes a change and all the people will be more sensible with this matter but is important consider that the change start for yourself.
